[INNER THOUGHTS]
Overview (a general personality): Jessica had never beent he kind of person that would match the personality of a vampire. In fact, it would be impossible to guess that she was a vampire if you had known her beforehand. She was always a closed in kind of girl, but that was probably because of the way her father trested her and her baby sister, Eden. She wasn't religious but that was the kind of thing was a huge part of her household so she had to just pretend. Okay, maybe there were things that she did believe but she wasn't as serious about it as her parents. If she had been, she probably would have met the sun the moment she had realized what she had been turned into. When Jessica was human, she was quiet and reserved. She didn't dare speak out of turn or defy her parents. She was a good girl that made sure all her homework was done and that she was never out too late because she knew what would happen if she did stay out. She and Eden had been physically abused by her father, even if he refused to refer to it that way. When she became a vampire, everything changed.
Jessica began acting out, obviously. For the first two weeks of being a vampire, she was very rebellious, refusing to listen to any authority and feeding on anyone at anytime. It was as if she lived for that stuff. Or, didn't live.. whatever. She began cursing a whole lot more, something that she actually loved to do. After awhile, though, she calmed down and eventually began to listen to her elders, but not in the same way that she had when it came to her parents. As her maker, Bill Compton made it impossible for her to be able to disobey, and Eric Northman sometimes scared her so much she just listened. Jessica became curious about her new world, and she fell in love for the first time. In a sense, she was reborn and well, she certainly does act that way. Living on her own with Hoyt has made her a bit more responsible though and now she is becoming slightly more, well.. vampire-ish. She defies certain people from time to time and well, she sticks up for herself a lot more than she used to. But with the break up with Hoyt, who's to know what's she's going to end up becoming.
Likes: Blood, Hoyt, Bill, fashion, decorating, styling, make up.
Dislikes: Sookie, cooking, being bored, doing laundry, cleaning, Maxine Fortenberry.
Strengths: Loyal, honest, her vampire abilities.
Weaknesses: Wood, silver, the sun, Hoyt, Bill.
Fears: Being staked, hating Hoyt.
[PERSONAL INFORMATION]
Job?: Night time waitress at Merlotte's.
Pets: No pets.
[HISTORY]
"Um, hi. So, I just got this new computer and I figured that I'd make something that's.. somewhat useful. Oh! I should introduce myself. My name's Jessica Hamby, and until, just recently, I was living a pretty shitty life. I'm uh, a baby vampire. Been for about a month or so now. It really isn't as hard as I, or anyone would have thought, really, you just need some good guidance and you're really good to go. Before my maker was teaching me stuff, I had another vampire showing me what to do. His ways are a bit different from Bill's and I was kind of turned into a human hunting spoiled brat, but now I know that it's completely different. Or, I mean, it can be different. Some vamps wanna feed only on humans. Tru Blood isn't really their thing.
"Anyways, my story. Well, I'm seventeen years old.. and will be for, like, ever, technically. I guess in a few years from now when someone checks my ID, it'll say I'm twenty or whatever, and I will be but we all know, my body's gonna be seventeen forever. Not to mention a lot of other things forever. But, that's a whole other story for another time.. or maybe never. I have, or.. had, a little sister, Eden, and then there was my mom and dad, who were both just.. assholes, really. My daddy would always get mad and.. use his belt, or whatever.. It wasn't fun and it just sucks knowing that poor Eden is probably gonig through all that, although I did go home and scared the shit out of him and made a point to bring up the belt thing. I was intending on.. y'know, eating him, but Bill showed up and stopped me so, I hope at least he remembered that one belt mention and hopefully he isn't being such an ass to Eden.
"How I became a vampire. I snuck out of the house one night to go to a party with some of my friends, which I knew I'd get into trouble if my dad found out, but I was basically telling him to fuck off that night.. without actually saying a word. I was kidnapped by some vampires and Bill was forced to turn me into a vampire. I think he killed another one and it was either make another to take the dead vampire's place, or he'd be stuck in a coffee, wrapped in silver after getting his fangs pulled out.. or somethin' like that. I remember he asked for the coffee thing too, to save me. It was sweet of him, but now I'm kind of glad he turned me. My life sucked anyway, and if I hadn't been turned, I never would have met Hoyt, which has been the best thing about my.. after life? Undead life? Whatever you wanna call it.
"Hoyt is a human, my boyfriend. He's.. he's just perfect. When we first met, he acted like I was some kind of celebrity just because I was a vampire. And then I was in Dallas for a bit, and he actually came all the way there to surprise me. It was the most romantic thing I had ever seen, heard of, anything. We, uh.. well, you know. He was my first. For a little while, after I bit his mom, we were fighting and I tried to call it off for good cause I figured someone that amazing didn't deserve to be with some dead girl and when he never gave up on me.. I knew I had to take him back. I love him so much, I can't imagine life, or.. death, without him. He says he wants to marry me and is even thinking about going online to become a minister so he can marry us himself. He is just the sweetest guy in the world, and I am the luckiest girl to have him. Okay, I did feel like that.
"We didn't really last after a year and now everything's screwed up. He was expecting way too much of me and I just hadn't explored my whole vampireness yet which meant that we just clashed more than we thought and, well, it's done. I went to Fangtasia one night, fed off some guy and Hoyt freaked out, as if he didn't know that I'm a vampire. That's what I do. I guess it's back to Bill's, but at least that house is pretty and stuff night. My maker, the King of Louisiana. I mean.. I don't hate Hoyt, I still love him, but what can you do? Life goes on."

Roleplaying sample: School was one place that she could feel normal for the period of the time that she had to be in classes and although she usually always felt normal, besides the times when she was drinking blood but going to school was something that a normal teenager did so she found that she liked the times she was there. It wasn't just a normal feeling for her, she knew that it was a good way for anyone to get their mind off of things that had happened before. She doubted it helped Elena and Jeremy much with the whole Jenna thing, but she assumed that it was a good distraction for Jeremy and the whole vampire thing. That boy needed a break from always being full of so much blood lust, or whatever. They had turned around the same time so Caroline knew at about what point the younger Gilbert would be with his new life. They had become closer because of it, not that she had a problem with it, but it was nice to have a partner in this whole thing.
Today would be a really good day to keep her mind off of everything, that much she knew. There was a dance coming up and Caroline was always the one that would be on the committees that helped plan these things. It was what she spent a lot of her time doing and although the classes had finished, the blonde was settling herself down outside at one of the picnic benches where the basketball hoops were, and it was close to the parking lot. She sat on the top of the table, a notebook on her lap, pen in her hand, but her eyes were wandering.
Believe it or not, Caroline was having a hard time coming up with some ideas for the upcoming event. It wasn't like her, not at all, but it was probably because she was so distracted with everything else that was going on. There were the problems her friends had, then the break up with Matt and now the complicated situation between her and Tyler, which could actually lead into a great situation. She hoped. She wasn't going to screw this one up. Everything that was going on combined with a lot of other things and it was breaking Caroline from being able to do what she did so naturally. It was almost like a gift, organizing so many parties but now she had hit some kind of mental block. Oh well, she had time.
As the vampire remained sitting on the bench, many scents flowed through to her but there was one in particular she was hoping to catch. It wasn't the one that she did catch. It was just out of habit and Caroline looked over to where she had spotted her ex-boyfriend, Matt Donovan, leaving the school. She wouldn't talk to him, she'd let him come over if he wanted to. Yes, she knew they had things to talk about (none of them being if they were going to get back together) but she was still a little hesitate of going over to him.
Rule words: Sammy likes pancakes and syrup.
